"Losing does not Always Matter"
Losing does not always matter when you play Poker. One of the most important things that does Matter is that you Learn from Losing.
I can remember when growing up as a military brat. And the words always rang home when it come to playing sports. Losing does not matter as long as you give it your Best. And whenever I would play baseball or football or even basketball the number one thing the Coach would always tell you is that Winning is not everything in the world. There will always a loser and there will always be a Winner. And it does not matter whether you are the first loser or the last loser.
In Poker it is the same way you are not always going to win every hand and you will not lose every hand. The biggest lesson to come out of today's Inspiration is it that when you lose learn from it. As seen in my early post about how I could not understand how someone could for all their chips with 248 people left out 4759 entrants. Well it is not about how I played it, it's not even about how he played it. But what lesson did I learn from it is more important than losing the hand. And under scrutiny from other poker players i realized that there is more to it than just losing. Yes Bad Beats are everywhere, they happen every minute of every day.
If you can learn from those losing moments then you are growing as a Poker Player. I learned to never believe that someone will fold if you shove all-in even it cost them the whole tournament. And looking back yes I could of played it diferently in many ways and saved alot of chips and maybe went on to make the money. So all in all losing does matter in that it teach's you what not to do.
I am still learning and still growing as a Poker Player and I will still have losing moments. But each time I lose there is a lesson to learn from it. ANd that is what this Inspirational Words of Wisdom is about. Learning and Growing as a Poker Player. So when you have a losing hand today dont get mad or frustrated over it. Write it down go back and look to see what else you could of done differently.
